You had a list. You sent an offer to all of it. Twelve people opened it.
So you assumed email does not work any more, and you stopped.
Here is what usually happened instead. Your email never reached most of those inboxes. It went to the
promotions tab, or straight to spam, or the receiving mail server rejected it before delivery and nobody told you.
Your report said "sent". It did not say "read".
There is a second version of this story. Somebody sold you a list of ten thousand email addresses. You sent to
it. Enough people marked it as spam that your domain got a bad reputation, and now even your quotations to
real customers land in their spam folder. That damage takes months to undo.
| Requirement | What it means |
|---|---|
| SPF and DKIM | Two records published in your domain's DNS that let a receiving server confirm the mail really came from you |
| DMARC | A third record, at minimum a policy of "none", that ties the first two together and tells servers what to do with mail that fails |
| From address alignment | The domain in your From line must match either the SPF domain or the DKIM domain |
| One-click unsubscribe | Marketing email must let a person unsubscribe in a single click, with a visible unsubscribe link in the body, and requests honoured within two days |
| Spam complaint rate | Keep it under 0.10 percent. Never let it reach 0.30 percent |
| Valid reverse DNS and TLS | Basic sending hygiene on the servers your mail comes from |
A structured strategy session, including a SWOT analysis, that ends with your positioning and your ideal customer written down. Email is the channel where a weak message is most obvious, because there is nothing to look at except your words.
Where your list came from, how old it is, and whether your domain is authenticated. This decides what is realistic.
SPF, DKIM and DMARC published. Platform configured. Postmaster Tools connected.
Template designed, copy written, test sends checked in Gmail, Outlook and on a phone before anything goes to your list.
Scheduled, not blasted. A new sending domain is warmed up gradually rather than sending to everyone on day one.

Dilip started his interior decoration business but was overwhelmed. He did not have much budget for a proper digital marketing campaign and whatever social media activity he did, did not fetch many results. He was looking for an easy, affordable way to look legitimate, share his contact information digitally and generate some business online.
Dilip signed up for the Digital Accelerator, which instantly provided:

Priya was too busy serving clients to focus on marketing. Her social media was inconsistent, word-of-mouth was her only source of leads, and hiring someone in-house did not work due to lack of expertise.
“I needed someone to be my marketing brain…
Satej Infotech handled everything.
My inquiries increased dramatically in 3 months, and my brand finally looks professional and disciplined.”
— Priya Joshi, Founder, Growth Path Consulting
SPF, DKIM and DMARC are set up as part of the job, not fixed after a campaign fails.
