The problem

You have paid for ads before. You remember how it went.

The report came every month. Impressions. Clicks. Click through rate. A graph going up and to the right.

You read it and thought the same thing every time: none of this tells me whether anyone actually bought something.

Maybe you asked. Maybe you were told the campaign was performing well, that reach had grown, that awareness was building. And your staff, who would know, told you the phone was quiet.

Or you boosted a few posts yourself. Messages came in. Most were people asking for the price and then vanishing, or people three states away who could never have bought from you.

You are not against advertising. You are against paying for numbers that do not turn into customers. That is a reasonable position and this page is written for it.

Digital Growth Process

The Core Idea

The report should answer one question: how many customers did this bring?
Satej Infotech is a performance marketing company in India that runs Google and Meta advertising campaigns for small and medium businesses, where spending is measured against leads and sales rather than clicks, reach or impressions.

Regular digital marketing is judged by activity. Posts published, ads shown, people reached. Performance based marketing is judged by outcome. Enquiries received, cost of each enquiry, and how many turned into paying customers.

That difference changes what we do every week. If a keyword brings clicks and no enquiries, we switch it off, even though switching it off makes the click graph look worse. The click graph is not the score.

It also changes what you see. Your monthly report leads with the number of leads and what each one cost, and the click numbers sit below that as background.

What is actually included

What we actually run
Google Ads
  • Search campaigns, so you appear when somebody is already looking for what you sell. This is where buying intent is highest.
  • Display and remarketing, to stay in front of people who visited your site and left without contacting you.
  • Google Business Profile work, so the searches that lead to a phone call from the map result are covered too.
Meta Ads on Facebook and Instagram
  • Campaigns aimed at the customer defined in your Marketing Blueprint, not at everybody within 50 kilometres.
  • Click to WhatsApp campaigns, which for most Indian SMEs bring better enquiries than a form does, because the customer is already in the app they prefer.
Where the enquiries land
  • A landing page built for the campaign, so the visitor arrives at a page about the thing they clicked on and not at your homepage.
  • Enquiries captured into a CRM. Satej Infotech's own WhatsApp based CRM, BoostCRM, can hold them, send automatic first replies and remind your team to follow up.
  • Call and enquiry tracking, so you know which campaign produced which enquiry.
What you get back
  • A monthly report that opens with leads and cost per lead.
  • The spend, shown against your own account, so the numbers can be checked.
  • A clear note on which campaigns we are cutting and which we are increasing, and why.
How the money works, stated plainly
Your ad budget is separate from our fee. You pay Google and Meta directly, from an account in your own name. We never hold your ad money. You can log in and see exactly what was spent, on any day, without asking us.

Lead generation, explained

What lead generation actually means

Lead generation is the work of getting people who are likely to buy to share their contact details or start a conversation, so the business has someone to follow up with.

A lead is not a sale. It is a person who has raised their hand. They filled in a form, sent a WhatsApp message, called the number in the ad, or clicked to chat.

Performance marketing is how lead generation is done with paid advertising. The ad puts your offer in front of the right person. The landing page or the WhatsApp chat gives them an easy way to respond. The CRM makes sure the response is not lost.

Then comes the part nobody talks about. A lead that sits unanswered for two days is usually gone. In most businesses we have worked with, the biggest gap was not the number of leads coming in. It was what happened after they arrived. That is why we set up the follow up system at the same time as the ads, and not six months later.

How we work

How the work runs
1
The Marketing Blueprint

A structured strategy session, including a SWOT analysis, that ends with your positioning and your ideal customer written down. Ads pointed at a vague audience waste money faster than anything else in marketing, because you are paying by the click for every wrong person who arrives.

2
The Offer and The Numbers

We work out what a customer is worth to you and what you can afford to pay for one. Every decision after this is measured against that figure.

3
Build

Campaigns, ad copy, creatives, the landing page, and the tracking that connects an enquiry back to the ad that produced it. Tracking goes in before launch, never after.

4
Launch and Watch

The first few weeks are for learning which audiences and keywords bring real enquiries. Paid ads can show movement within 2 to 4 weeks.

5
Cut and Increase

Weekly changes. What brings enquiries gets more budget. What brings clicks and nothing else gets switched off.

6
Report

Once a month, in plain language, starting with leads and cost per lead.

Work We Have Done
...
A premium food brand

Monthly sales grew from about Rs. 2 lakh to over Rs. 20 lakh. The business sells through Zomato, Swiggy and its own website, with Meta ads running across several cities. The ads carried the demand and the ordering channels closed it.

...
A fertility clinic

The clinic moved from 3 procedures a month to more than 12 a month, and now holds over 60 Google reviews at a 4.9 rating.

Questions business Owners Ask Us
Answered Honestly

Whatever stage your business is at, these are the questions we hear most and the straight answers we give.

Performance marketing is paid advertising where the spending is measured against results such as leads and sales, rather than against clicks, impressions or reach. Campaigns are changed week by week based on what produced enquiries, and the parts that produce nothing are switched off. It is also called performance based marketing.

Lead generation is the work of getting people who are likely to buy to share their contact details or start a conversation, so the business has someone to follow up with. A lead can arrive as a form submission, a WhatsApp message, a phone call or a chat click. A lead is not a sale, and the value of lead generation depends entirely on how quickly and how well those leads are followed up.

A lead generation company puts your offer in front of people who are likely to buy, gives them an easy way to respond, and passes those responses to you. The usual method is paid advertising on Google and Meta pointed at a defined audience, with a landing page or a WhatsApp chat to capture the enquiry, and a CRM to make sure it is followed up. Ask any such company two questions before signing: where the leads come from, and who owns the ad account.

You do, directly to Google and Meta, from an ad account in your own name. Our fee for managing the campaigns is separate from the ad budget and we never hold your advertising money. This means you can log in and check exactly what was spent on any day without asking us.

Paid advertising can show movement within 2 to 4 weeks. The first few weeks are spent learning which audiences and keywords bring real enquiries, so early results are usually mixed and should not be judged too soon. Search engine optimisation, by comparison, takes 3 to 6 months, which is why many businesses run both together.

There is no single good cost per lead, because it depends entirely on what one customer is worth to your business. A business earning Rs. 500 from a customer and a business earning Rs. 5,00,000 from a customer can afford very different numbers, and both can be right. We work out your figure during the Marketing Blueprint session and measure every campaign against it.

You get one report a month, and it opens with how many leads arrived and what each one cost. It also shows total spend, which campaigns brought the enquiries, which ones we are cutting, and which ones we are increasing. Clicks and impressions are included as background rather than as the headline.

Yes. Click to WhatsApp campaigns on Facebook and Instagram send people straight into a WhatsApp chat with you, and Google Business Profile can carry calls and directions from local searches. A landing page usually improves results and can be built on its own without a full website. A website is worth building, but it does not have to hold up your advertising.
